Project Snapshot
Role: Concept, Photography & Visual Direction
Client: Personal / Concept Work
Audience: Designers, creatives, and brand-focused audiences
Scope: Concept-driven still life exploring pop culture and visual storytelling
The Challenge
Simple objects can easily become visually uninteresting without a strong concept.
The challenge was to create an engaging, memorable visual by combining everyday elements with a playful, unexpected narrative, using pop culture references to add personality and impact.
My Approach
I developed a concept-driven still life that combines humour, contrast, and visual storytelling.
The focus was on first creating a clear idea, then translating it into composition, colour, and styling. By mixing elements from different contexts, the image creates curiosity and invites interpretation while maintaining a strong visual identity.
The work explores how creativity and concept can elevate even the simplest subjects.
